Pine Haven Campground
Pine Haven Campground is nestled in the Baker River Valley at the base of the White Mountains. Located on the South Branch of the Baker River, the campground has 3000 feet of river frontage. Pine Haven’s large, well-spaced sites can accommodate all types of camping from tents to 44′ RVs. We offer quiet family camping in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. You will enjoy refreshing swims in the clear mountain waters, night swimming in our lighted pool on warm summer evenings, excellent fresh water fishing, and hiking or biking through our forests.

Northern Rail Trail
At 58 miles, the Northern Rail Trail spans Grafton and Merrimack counties and is the longest rail-trail in New Hampshire. The surface is cinder ballast in Grafton
Montshire Museum of Science
The Montshire Museum of Science is a nationally recognized, hands-on museum in Norwich, Vermont.
Sited on 110 acres near the Connecticut River, we offer over 150 exhibits on nature, technology, astronomy, and the physical sciences. Our exhibits and programming foster interactive discovery for people of all ages, and our unique riverfront setting fosters deep creative learning in the physical and natural world. Canaan Street Lake
Canaan Street Lake is 303 acres (123ha), shallow and largely spring fed. The lake's importance to Canaan Town has several aspects: It is the only water source to downtown Canaan and should it become unavailable, replacement with wells would be expensive; it is a recreational asset with a public beach and boat ramp; it is an asset to lake-side owners, a fact acknowledged by an increased town tax base.
Canaan Motor Club
The CMC is a 1.3 mile long technically challenging road course with extensive run off areas to promote a safe environment for all track users. The track was designed to run in both directions to give a total of 2.6 miles with nine major turns. The track can be configured to run two separate karting or solo events at the same time.
