This Saturday is our Rider's Meeting. Here are the results of our online form. Looking forward to seeing all the riders! Less then 3 months till our first practice on May 4th! Time to get your bikes ready! If you have not called Tim Street at Factory Connection at 6036642221, perfect time to give him a call. Thank you for the support and see you soon!
What is you idea?
1. I would love to have a pit bike class this season so I can participate with my son as he start of in his first year racing it will give me a class to play in as well as some of my family as well.
2. Kids races first. Too Long of a day for a 6/7/8 year old.
3. New awards, and split up expert and amateur class, also have a lap time limit for each class so they will always have the appropriate riders in each class
4. Pit bike class and lips jumps. Maybe add a double or some more table tops
5. Would love to have a pit bike class!!
6. Allowing ATV to race.
7. Small track improvements. Changes that separates track times better then speed.
8. I am in the over 50 vet class and I am now over 60 and would like a to have a 60 yr old vet class.

On February 17th, 2024, we have a Rider’s Meeting at the Canaan Assembly of God. Address: 1150 Church St, Canaan, NH 03741
The meeting starts at 12 noon, and it will be pot luck. Over the years our riders and staff have brought plenty of great food! Refreshments will be served. We are looking forward to seeing the riders and the people who support them. This is your chance to tell us what we are doing right and what changes you would like us to try to implement. We created a form for you to submit if you cannot attend. Here are a few ideas that have already been submitted.

1.    Run the track backwards during a race or practice.
2.    Awards 
3.    Master’s class over 60
4.    Pit bike class
5.    Relay races Father son, Mother daughter etc.

We need your help

Canaan Lions MX is in need of track help. As many of you know, the track is run by the Canaan Lions Club. The Lions, is the largest service organization, in the world. This is an all-volunteer group, and all proceeds raised, go toward causes such as eyesight and hearing testing, diabetes research, eliminating hunger, and helping with medical needs in our community and around the world.

 

Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic, Canaan Lions MX will be following all Federal, State, and Local Laws and Regulations. Please check the Website, Facebook, and Instagram for updates.

 

Some of our members, are now considered High Risk and will not be able to return to the track. In order for this to be a successful race season, we need flaggers, gate attendants, and help with registration. We are not looking for a season commitment (that would be great), but we are trying to get a list of people to fill in, as needed. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated and together we can keep Canaan Lions MX a fun, family-friendly place to ride and race. Welcome to the Canaan Lions Club's motocross season. The gate fee for spectators is $10 for ages 7 through adult. Children 6 and under are admitted free of charge. Practice is $25 and Races are $35 with discounts applied for more than one race. See Documents for more information.  All racebikes must stay in the main parking area on race day.  For pedestrian safety, bicycles will not be allowed anywhere on the premises.  All dogs must remain on a leash at all times.NO ALCOHOL due to liability concerns. THIS WILL BE ENFORCED! NO GLASS CONTAINERS PLEASE PLEASE! Use the trash receptacles in your area and pick up your area before you leave.

Chappy's Concessions at the Fish & Game Club kitchen will be open at 6:00 a.m. on race day with coffee and breakfast and will remain open for the day. Hot dogs, burgers, fries, ice cream, soda, sausage, steak & cheese, etc., will be available for purchase.
